Our fantastic PTA team created our biggest and most diverse Christmas Fair yet on Saturday, with old favourites, such as Father Christmas and his elves; festive foodie treats from our catering team and PTA master-bakers; our Prep and Senior Choirs; our Swing and Concert bands; topped off with preview of Oliver!, this year’s school musical, before it hits the Lowther Pavilion stage in January.
We also enjoyed the children's favourite, snow hockey; our infamous Chocolate Tombola, and raffle prizes from an array of local businesses in addition to our beautiful PTA hampers.
The main hall and dining halls glittered with stalls from local artists and small businesses, featuring treats and Christmas gifts, as well as student-led initiatives, such as the AKS Action Christmas decorations and handmade soap to raise money for the Sparkle Foundation; the Tycoon in Schools' stalls and our cast of Oliver! promoting the musical with a fun game to keep young children amused.
Many thanks to all who took part in making the event such as success: the PTA, stallholders, parents, staff, students and attendees.
We're already looking forward to next year!
