The Year 6 pupils delivered an outstanding showcase assembly, demonstrating the depth of their inquiry learning, the strength of their collaboration, and the pride they take in their work. The morning was a vibrant celebration of curiosity, creativity and the many talents they have developed during their time in the Prep School.
The assembly highlighted how confidently the children communicate their ideas. Each pupil shared aspects of their learning journey with clarity and enthusiasm, from research projects and written work to performances and practical investigations. Their ability to explain their thinking, reflect on their progress and present with such assurance is a testament to their hard work.
Parents were invited to explore the children’s books and projects across the curriculum, creating a lively atmosphere of shared discovery. This open floor approach encouraged meaningful conversations between pupils and adults, allowing the children to articulate their passions and interests to a wider audience.
The quality and variety of work on display were exceptional. Inquiry led studies showcased thoughtful questioning, careful analysis and a growing ability to form well reasoned opinions. Creative writing pieces, musical performances and collaborative presentations further demonstrated the breadth of skills the children have developed.
Building on their engagement with COP30 last year, the children also used the platform to highlight environmental issues and future focused thinking. Their contributions reflected a mature awareness of global challenges and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
Thank you to all families who joined us for this special occasion and for their ongoing support. The Year 6 pupils should feel immensely proud of what they have achieved. Their confidence, teamwork and intellectual curiosity leave no doubt that they are more than ready for the exciting step into Year 7.
