We are thrilled to announce that two of our students, George and Matheson, have been selected as finalists in the prestigious United Learning Art Competition!
Out of thousands of entries and nearly 10,000 public votes across the country, their pieces were chosen to be among the top 10 works of art to be exhibited at the United Learning Leadership Conference in March.
What makes this achievement even more impressive is that George and Matheson are only in Year 10. As they are just at the very beginning of their GCSE Art journey, they will be among the youngest students in the entire competition. To reach the final 10 against such stiff national competition at this stage of their studies is an outstanding feat!
Our Finalists:
George – ‘Marge’s Chaotic Demise’
Matheson – ‘My Dice Jar’
The standard of work submitted this year was exceptionally high, and we are so proud of them for progressing to the final round of voting. This is a testament to their dedication, natural talent, and the vibrant artistic community we have here at AKS Lytham.
A huge thank you to everyone who liked, shared, and voted to support our students. We can’t wait to see their work showcased on the national stage and wish them well as an overall winner is selected and taken to Tokyo to showcase their work!
