It has been an outstanding few weeks for AKS students, with a series of exceptional sporting achievements across rugby, football and waterskiing.
We are proud to share that Year 13 students Sammy C and Tommy M have been selected for the Lancashire U18 Rugby Squad, a tremendous accomplishment that reflects their dedication, hard work and leadership on the field.
In football, Year 11 student Freddie B has been offered a full time contract with the Blackpool Football Club Academy for next year. Freddie has also been representing Lancashire U16s, showcasing his skill, consistency and passion for the game at county level.
Adding to the rugby successes, Year 10 Will H, Noah M-J and Harry M have all been selected for the Sale Sharks U15 Player Development Group, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance their game and develop within a professional rugby environment.
Meanwhile, Freddie J has competed in the 21st Cyprus Cup Waterskiing competition, where he achieved an impressive second place in the Under 12 Boys category.
These accomplishments highlight the exceptional talent, determination and sporting spirit within our AKS community. Each of these students continues to demonstrate the values of perseverance, teamwork and excellence that define AKS sport.
