Scholars Society Concludes the Academic Year with the Big Brain Quiz

The final Scholars Society event of the academic year took place on Thursday 11th June, bringing together students from across the Senior School and Sixth Form for an engagingsessionof intellectual challenge,teamworkand friendly competition.

Led by Senior Deputy Head, Allan McKeown, the annual Big Brain Quiz of the Year tested students' abilities across a diverse range of disciplines, including general knowledge, lateral thinking, visual word association, mathematicalreasoningand literacy challenges. Students competed in mixed-age teams, encouraging collaborationandcommunication between year groups.

A much-anticipated fixture in the Scholars Society calendar, the quiz once again proved to be a highlight of the programme. Students embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and determination,showcasingimpressive knowledge,creativityand problem-solving skills throughout the session.

The event provided a fitting conclusion to another successful year of Scholars Society activities, celebrating intellectual curiosity, academicenrichmentand a shared love of learning beyond the classroom.

Reflecting on the event, Allan McKeown said:
