Families from across the AKS Lytham community came together on the 6th of March 2026 for the much-anticipated PTA Easter Chocolate Bingo Night, which proved to be a fantastic evening of fun, laughter and, of course, plenty of chocolate.
The event had completely sold out in advance, with students, parents and staff filling the hall for a lively family night organised by the AKS PTA. With bingo cards in hand and eyes on the numbers, players competed for a wide range of chocolate prizes generously donated by students from across the different year groups.
Alongside the bingo, families were able to enjoy refreshments from the bar and tuck shop, as well as getting their faces painted for the evening of fun. It was an exciting and social atmosphere that made the evening a real community occasion.
The event was organised by the AKS PTA, a dedicated group of parents and teachers who work together throughout the year to organise events that bring families together while raising funds to support the school. Their hard work and enthusiasm continue to make a real difference to the wider AKS community.
Last year alone, the PTA raised an incredible £28,776, helping to fund a number of worthwhile investments for the school.
A huge thank you goes to the PTA volunteers for their time, energy and continued support of AKS Lytham, as well as to the many students and families who donated chocolate and helped make the evening such a success.
Looking ahead, the next PTA event in the calendar is the OAKS and PTA Summer Ball, taking place on 30th May at 7pm.
