Maisie C’s Accomplishments in Dance, Music & Drama
After a summer of dedication, hard work and countless hours of practice, Maisie achieved Distinctions in RAD Intermediate Ballet, Grade 6 Tap and Grade 6 Modern. She also earned a High Merit in Grade 7 Piano, along with Distinctions in LCM Grade 5 Singing and LAMDA Grade 4. These outstanding results are a testament to Maisie’s commitment, determination and versatility across dance, music and drama, and reflect the tremendous effort she has invested in developing her talents.
Sienna K Achieves Her BTDA Classical Ballet Intermediate Award
Sienna has successfully achieved her BTDA Classical Ballet Intermediate Award, a significant milestone within BTDA’s vocational graded ballet qualifications. The demanding two-and-a-half-hour examination required a high level of technical ability, strength, musicality and artistry, alongside extensive preparation and the completion of a detailed portfolio. This impressive achievement reflects Sienna’s dedication, discipline and passion for ballet, as well as the many years of hard work she has devoted to developing her technique and performance skills.
Evie S’ Journey from Flute Student to Professional Pit Orchestra
When Evie was given the opportunity to perform in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Blackpool Grand Theatre, it marked an extraordinary moment in her musical journey. Having only started learning the flute in November 2023, she found herself less than three years later performing alongside professional musicians in the orchestra pit of one of the UK's most iconic theatres. Throughout the production, Evie demonstrated remarkable determination, musicality and confidence, embracing every challenge and proving herself as a valued member of the orchestra. Her achievement is a wonderful reflection of her talent, dedication and rapid progress as a musician.
Sienna W Represents Team England at the Global Dance Open
Sienna proudly represented Team England at the Global Dance Open in San Sebastián this summer, competing alongside thousands of dancers from 37 countries. Performing with ‘Langley’s Dance Academy’, she took part in 10 dances and achieved an incredible medal haul of 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medals. In addition, her dance school was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Outstanding Dance School’. Sienna’s success reflects her talent, commitment and passion for dance, and is a fantastic achievement on the international stage.
A Summer of Cricket Success
Alyssa, Charlotte, Evie, Penny, Sadie and Sophia represented the Northern Pyramid Interleague team this summer, with Alyssa and Penny also selected for the prestigious ‘Best of the Best’ match. Winnie and Penny represented the U13 Northern Pyramid Interleague team, while Winnie also impressed for Lancashire EEP with figures of 5-11 from four overs in an U12 fixture. Rupert continued to excel across multiple levels, representing the U14 Northern League Palace Shield Interleague side alongside several Lytham Cricket Club teams (Academy, U17, U15 & U14). Oliver O and Will VR progressed through the club ranks with Academy appearances, while Charlotte and Evie began their senior cricket careers with regular appearances for St Annes Ladies First XI.
Teddy’s Charity Night Run
Teddy recently completed the Night Run in support of the Brian House Hospice, taking part in his very first organised running event. Despite challenging weather conditions, including strong winds and heavy rain, he approached the run with determination and enthusiasm. Teddy thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was proud to support such a worthwhile cause. Completing the event was a fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of resilience, effort and community spirit.
Alexa T Signs for Everton Football Club
Alexa has achieved an exciting milestone in her football journey by signing for Everton Football Club. After spending the past two years with Blackpool’s Emerging Talent Centre, where she was part of a highly successful team that recorded victories against both Manchester United and Liverpool, Alexa has continued to impress with her talent and dedication. As a lifelong Everton supporter, the opportunity to join the club she loves is a dream come true. She is looking forward to beginning Everton’s excellent development programme and taking the next step in her football career.
Lukas M wins the Prestigious Aston Trophy at St Annes Old Links
Lukas has had a remarkable season of golf. He is Junior Captain at St Annes Old Links Golf Club and has led by example, securing numerous victories across a range of competitions throughout the year. His accomplishments include representing the Lancashire Under 18 squad, finishing an impressive 5th in the North of England Under 16s competition, and currently sitting 7th in the Scotland Junior Tour Order of Merit. He also recently equalled the course record at the renowned Kilspindie Golf Club.
This weekend he won the prestigious Ashton trophy at St Annes Old Links; beating some of the regions finest amateur golfers. This is a fantastic achievement.
Tristan P is awarded the AKS Spirit of Cricket Award
Congratulations to Tristan, who was awarded the prestigious 'AKS Spirit of Cricket Award' in recognition of his outstanding sportsmanship, commitment and positive attitude throughout the season. Tristan consistently demonstrated the values at the heart of the game, showing respect, teamwork and integrity both on and off the field, making him a truly deserving recipient of this honour.
