This year’s House Run saw 30 participants take part, including 28 students and 2 members of staff, with a great level of enthusiasm across all houses.
At the front of the race, Alfie K finished in first place, followed by Oliver S in second and James Haworth in third and fourth place was taken by Henry C.
Medals for the event were specially made by former teacher, now retired, Mr Klenk and his Ladies Woodworking Group, adding a personal touch to the occasion.
The overall House competition was decided by total involvement, including both runners and those helping to marshal. In a very close result, Samlesbury secured first place by just one additional volunteer.
