The AKS Urban Eats Trailer Design Competition has brought an exciting burst of imagination and artistic flair to our school community. Inspired by the upcoming launch of our very own AKS Urban Eats food trailer, students from across Prep and Senior School were invited to design artwork that could shape the trailer’s final look. The response was exceptional, with entries that showcased creativity, originality and a clear understanding of the brief.
The standard of submissions was impressively high, making the judging process incredibly close. Each design reflected the individuality and ambition of our students.
We are delighted to announce Freddie L (Year 8) as the overall winner of this year’s competition. His imaginative concept captured the spirit of Urban Eats, earning him the opportunity to collaborate closely with our team and the professional design company. Together, they will refine and adapt his artwork, bringing his vision from page to production.
This project has been generously supported by our PTA, whose funding has enabled the competition to progress from an idea to a fully realised initiative. Their continued commitment to enhancing student experiences makes ventures like this possible, and we extend our sincere thanks for their contribution.
One of the most exciting outcomes of the competition is that every single entrant will see their artwork featured on the final trailer in some way.
