It was great to see so many former students take part on Saturday. The event is always a highlight, but it was brilliant to see the game played in such a tremendous spirit, and great fun was had by all involved.
The OAKS brought with them an enormous squad, a deliberate ploy to combat playing against a younger, fitter team, and they rotated the team to good effect.
Some of the AKS team were literally half the age of their opponents and gave an excellent account of themselves, but the wily old foxes of Fraser's band of merry men were able to use their experience to grind out a hard fought victory.
The AKS team have had a superb season, reaching the semi finals of both County and National competitions, and it was a joy to play in a no pressure, fun environment where, regardless of the result, football was the winner.
We are already looking forward to next year
