Last night’s Teatime Concert was a wonderful way to begin our 2026 music concert series, and it was a real pleasure to see so many of our musicians performing with such confidence and maturity.
The concert marked the first music focused event of the year, following a very busy start to term for Performing Arts. It was fantastic to turn the spotlight fully onto our instrumentalists and vocalists and to celebrate the depth of musical talent across the school.
We enjoyed piano performances from Mishal A R, Ilaria V, Freddie J, Grace H, Austin L, Alice W, Sal A, Arabella C and Maisie F. Our vocalists, William C, Maisie F, Logan D R, George B, Finlay L, Lucy P and Esmé N, sang with confidence and character. Instrumental performances from Harriet F on flute, Arabella C on alto saxophone, Kaitlyn H on euphonium, Amelia C on trumpet, Austin L on cornet and Evie C on flute added further colour and variety to the programme.
Teatime Concerts are always such an important part of our musical calendar. They provide pupils with the opportunity to perform in a supportive setting, develop their stage presence and share their progress with family and friends. It was lovely to see students across year groups encouraging one another and clearly enjoying the experience.
A brilliant start to our 2026 music events, and we are already looking forward to Cabaret in March.
