In line with communities across the world, AKS is keen to contribute to the centenary commemorations of WW1. As part of that contribution we are producing twice termly updates of events at the front as we move through the centenary period.
We use information from the school archive, updates from local newspaper archives and other sources to report news of the war, and more specifically, the Old Boys from Arnold and King Edward VII who served in the armed forces during WWI.
We hope you find these updates interesting and informative, and that some of you may come across news with a family connection to some of our Old Boys.
