A week of 'firsts' for our hard-working Reception class PUBLISHED 12 September 2019 As the first full week in Reception comes to an end, it is time to reflect on what has already been achieved in such a short period of time. The children have started to blend letters together to make simple cvc words, made lots of new friends both within the classroom and in the playground, are starting to find out 1 more than a given number, have partly changed their clothes for the PE lessons, had their first French and music lesson and talked about themselves and what they like or dislike. These are just a small number of the activities the children have been involved in this week – the beginning of their AKS journey. Well done everybody for all your enthusiasm and determination on what has been a busy week of learning! AUTHOR: Alex Brown PUBLISHED: 12 September 2019 CATEGORIES: News
