Camilla takes Silver at AJIS Cross Country event

Camilla held her own out of a field of 120+ competitors and our AKS team were commended for their sportsmanship!

Our prep school enjoyed more sporting success yesterday, with Camilla gaining Silver in the girls' Year 5 race (out of 120+ entrants) in the Association of Independent Schools (AJIS) Cross Country Competition held at Rossall. It was a fiercely competitive event, with 27 schools and 400 competitors taking part in separate Year 5/6 and boys'/girls' races.

Our Year 5 and 6 AKS team are all members of our popular lunchtime cross country club. Many thanks to all the parents who were there to cheer the team on and to Mrs Dixon and our PE staff for their support.

In keeping with our school characteristic of #SuccessAndValue, it was lovely to hear such positive feedback from parents about the how our team supported one another and celebrated each other's success. We're proud of not just what they achieve, but the personal qualities they demonstrate.

Congratulations Camilla (pictured with her medal and her Year 5 teammates) and to all who participated in the event!
