Year 7 draw inspiration from designer, Kate Marchenko

Year 7 have been inspired by the fabulous work of designer Kate Marchenko.  This week in Art students started working on an embroidery hoop and have started sewing the outline of their underwater sea creatures.

Students learnt how to thread a needle, knot the thread, position and draw out their chosen creature and learnt how to do a running stitch.

It will be nice to see how the projects progress over the next few weeks. We will keep you posted.
