AKS Lytham host cricket’s stars of the future

AKS today played host to a county-level underage match. Lancashire U12 boys played Durham U12 boys, with many future stars showing their skills.

Lancashire batted first and made a steady start and built an excellent total. Durham struggled to match their scoring rate and lost wickets trying to achieve the total, falling short in the end.

Players, officials, and parents from both Lancashire and Durham gave praise to the excellent facilities and hosting that AKS offers and they look forward to returning in future seasons. It was a pleasure to support such a prestigious fixture for our county and are delighted with the feedback. 

We turn our county hosting attentions to next Tuesday, 13th June, when we have the pleasure of welcoming Lancashire U15 girls and Staffordshire U15 girls.
