Scholars' Society: Big End of Year Quiz!

Mr McKeown led the annual Scholars’ Society ‘Big Quiz of the Year’ on Wednesday 22nd May, when our Academic Scholars, plus those keen to join in the fun, teamed up with teachers to try to win the coveted title. Some of our Year 13 students, fresh from their A level exams came along to be part of the action.

Eight teams went head-to-head across five rounds, including General Knowledge, Maths, 1% club and Rebus Puzzles. 

After two teams battled for first position throughout the rounds, it was Mr Hodgkinson's group that finally snatched the top spot, with their guess for the 'winner takes all' final question being closest too the correct answer. The questions were fiendishly hard - how many of the sample ones would you have got right?
