Sixth Form Futures Evening

PUBLISHED 18 March 2022

With the future changing every day, and with the opportunities before us as extraordinary as the challenges, it has never been more important to think about the qualities we will need to thrive in an uncertain world.

Our Futures Evening sought to respond to these changing circumstances by providing a forum for diverse speakers who provided their perspectives on how to futureproof your employability; create a successful UCAS application; University and Degree Apprenticeships and Oxbridge advice.

Several of our Governors, representing Law, Accountancy, the Education Sector, Medicine, Banking and business were also on hand to give informal advice and guidance to students.

Headmaster, David Harrow commented, "It was thrilling to gather with so many energetic students, parents and governors to delve into the future pathways available to people, whether that is university, an apprenticeship, Oxbridge or something else, and to consider the skills and dispositions that people will need in the years to come."
