Year 11 Art students show resilience and commitment to their GCSE work

Our current Year 11 Art students have had a difficult time due to the pandemic. Many hours of learning in the Art studios have been missed. It is wonderful to see the current ambition and growth within this group of students - showing their resilience and commitment.

In just one room there are ceramics, painting, textiles, photography, collage, digital manipulation, printmaking, and sculpture all taking place. The AKS Art and Design department is so proud of the varied and exciting curriculum it can offer. It will be a busy few months as these students enjoy the final stages of their GCSE course and look towards their summer exams.
