AKS at the Antiques Roadshow, Lytham Hall

On Tuesday this week, the student Archives Club visited the Antiques Roadshow at Lytham Hall, accompanied by the school archivist Mrs Bickerstaffe and librarian Dr Hillman.  Taking with them a very rare historical document, known as the 'Adam's Illustrated Panorama of World History,' the students met firstly with Justin Croft - a specialist in antiquarian books and manuscripts.  Later in the day, the students were filmed with and interviewed by TV presenter Fiona Bruce and antiques expert Eric Knowles.  Both Eric and Fiona commented on how articulate and eloquent their responses were.  We look forward to reading more about the experience in their forthcoming student blog and, of course, to seeing them on BBC One in the near future!

Well done students!
