Senior Rugby Update

After a challenging start to the season, the senior squad have continued to work hard and have strived to improve each week.  As such, they have been increasingly competitive as the season has progressed.  This saw then take their first win against Ripley st Thomas with tries from Brandon, George (x2), Toby and Harrison.  This was a great achievement for the young side against a physical Ripley team.

Meanwhile the U16s, who are gaining valuable experience in the senior squad, have continued on their winning streak, beating Ormskirk in the Lancashire Cup with tries from Matt, Chris, Fraser, Franklin, Louis and Toby.  The side will face a very strong St Mary's Crosby team in the next round.

The senior squad are back in to action on Wednesday 6th November against Rishworth, then we have a block fixture for all teams on Saturday 9th November against Birkenhead.  All fixtures and be found on the www.sport.akslytham.com
