Y3 and their Sensational Sandwiches

Subway opened their doors this morning to Y3B.  The pupils were eager and ready to make their sandwiches as part of their design technology topic on ‘Healthy Sandwiches’. The children wore a special hat and protective gloves before going behind the counter to make their own individual sandwich. Each child enjoyed choosing the different breads, fillings, salad items and dressings that made up their unique sandwich. After this Y3B enjoyed going back to school on the local number 7 bus.

A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Wade (parents of AKS children) , who also own no less than eight Subways on the Fylde coast, for this visit.

Mrs A Briggs
