Training for Bronze Expedition
“Training for the Bronze Expeditions commenced at the weekend, with forty six Year 10 students braving the cold to practice cooking and putting up tents. They learnt valuable skills whilst also appreciating the importance of being fully equipped and dressed for the changing weather. This will be even more critical when we're on the exposed hillsides during the expedition itself.
There was great camaraderie and learning the importance of #teamwork, including washing the pans! The students also enjoyed learning about map-reading and how to write route cards; which will be tested on their practice expedition in March.
Well done to all the Bronze groups of 2019 for a very successful day!”
