Apocalyptic skies and gale force winds...

but the Duke of Edinburgh students successfully completed their practice expeditions.

The interesting weather conditions made this a challenging experience for the 4 Silver and 2 Gold students out on a practice in the Ribble valley, but they followed their route without any mistakes and felt very proud of their achievements at the end. It also made them appreciate their home comforts !
