Community Musical Recitals

AKS are excited to announce the creation of a lunchtime recital series in conjunction with local churches.  This will give pupils opportunities to take their talents out into the community and gain crucial performance experience as they continue to develop their musical abilities.  The concert series will start at St Thomas’ Parish Church on Tuesday 12th February.  All the concerts will be from 1:00-1:45pm and will be free of charge.

Mr Thomas added “This is a fantastic opportunity to take AKS Music out into the local community and to create a lunchtime concert series, supported by our local churches. This will be a great chance for the general public to see how much talent we have here at AKS and I also add my thanks to the churches for accommodating us and supporting us with this series. Tickets are free and we hope to see as many of our AKS parents and friends supporting the new event!”

Our next concert after St Thomas’ will be held at The Drive Methodist Church on Tuesday 26th February. This will feature a brand new programme showcasing other students from our growing department.  The final concert of our series will be held at The White Church on 5th March and the beautiful building will be the perfect end to our musical journey.

Tickets for all events are free and we hope to see you there.
