AKS Eurovision song contest a huge success!

The Second AKS Eurovision song contest was a great success! With over 240 audience members and our wonderful Prep students performing, the atmosphere in the OAKS hall was electric! The Prep Orchestra started proceedings with a wonderful rendition of the Final Countdown with such a wide range of talent on display!

The Blackburn and Darwen Band were on fine form and their Riverdance bringing such energy and excitement to the party! All year groups performed brilliantly, and this was echoed by our wonderful Eurovision Judges. We also had performances from Prep Chamber Choir, AKS Brass Band, Prep choir and a solo from Maisie on piano! Once all the votes had been counted, we announced Year 5 as the 2024 AKS Eurovision Champions!

It was a night filled with smiles, laughter and a real buzz of excitement for the future of Music at AKS.
